Press passes will be distributed to credible journalists who plan to cover the event before, during, and afterwards. Please read our eligibility requirements for press passes before submitting a request to attend any Devour Week event. Those who do not meet the minimum standards or our event objectives may not qualify during committee evaluation.
Deadline for submission is February 2, 2018. You will be notified of your press pass status no later than: February 9, 2018. Submissions not sent via the form below will NOT be considered. If you believe you do not fit into any one of the categories below or wish to have a larger role within the event(s), please connect with us to discuss a Media Sponsorship.
1. Bloggers - Bloggers will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but should at least fulfill the following requirements: must be a professional blogger, have an established audience, and receive at least 5,000 unique website visits per month. Bloggers must be able to show verifiable proof of these statistics upon request. Blogs must cover industry-related news and be updated at least 2 times a week with original content.
2. Freelance Media - If you are a freelance writer, photographer, and/or videographer interested in attending as press, you must provide a letter or email from the media outlet you are representing with a signature from your assignment editor. Eligibility is considered on a case-by-case basis and you will be notified if your press credentials are approved.
3. Social Media - Those submitting solely based on social media coverage will be evaluated carefully, with consideration on a case-by-case basis, and should at least fulfill the following requirements: must display creative and diverse use of any/all social media outlets, have an established audience, and a minimum of 5,000 followers on Facebook or Instagram. Selected social media brands must be industry-related and be updated at least 2 times a week with original content to be considered.
