Skip Hause, co-owner of Gertrude's, is a graduate of New York's Culinary Institute of America. Accomplishments include a Lifetime Achievement Award, working with the 5-Star Williamsburg Inn, Omni Hotels International, and Continental Catering where he spent 16 years as Executive Chef. Additionally, Skip is a member of the American Culinary Federation, the local Chefs Collaborative, and co-author of "On Cooking: A Textbook of Culinary Fundamentals", which is used in culinary schools worldwide.
